O’Harrow Construction served as design and build contractor for this steel distribution center in Potterville, Michigan. After an extensive site search in Mid-Michigan, Potterville was selected as the location for this 340,000 SF, design build project. With help from Michigan Jobs Commission and Local Building Officials, CDBG grants through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation were obtained for the infra-structure. This pre-engineered Varco-Pruden Building includes multiple crane bays for 20 ton overhead cranes, recessed drive-thru’s for unloading and loading steel, multiple recessed truck docks, recessed train wells, finished offices, break room, locker rooms and a concrete mezzanine. Nearly a mile of railroad access and the relocation of an open county drain were successfully completed during this project. Provisions were made for future additions. We have also built distribution centers for Alro in Benton Harbor, Michigan; Jackson, Michigan; Orlando Florida; and Beech Grove, Indiana.
