A 42,000 SF design/build project located in Chelsea, Michigan is an addition to the existing Polly’s food store. Conventional masonry, structural steel framing, brick exterior and simulated tile canopy are incorporated in the building design. A not-to-exceed agreement combined with close communications with the owner and tenants proved successful in completing the project ahead of schedule and well under budget with substantial savings being refunded to the owner. Tenant finishes were both bid and negotiated separately. O’Harrow successfully completed 90% of the finishes as leases were filled.
